one of the clues in this week's puzzle has a long, torturous history. and, as perhaps was entirely predictable, it ended with an oblique hamilton allusion.

i'm back home after a vacation that was less than relaxing. i got really sick on wednesday, but at least my parents were around to take care of the kids while i slept it off. yay for grandparents.
